Founder & Lead Consultant

Bart Lauwers is a Belgian-born aquatic architect, engineer, and consultant with over three decades of experience delivering complex aquatic and water-centric environments across the UAE, GCC, and international markets.
Based in the UAE for over 30 years, Bart has worked on luxury residential, hospitality, public, and large-scale mixed-use developments, providing technical leadership, strategic clarity, and independent oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
Bart approaches water not as a decorative feature, but as a living engineered system that must balance architecture, hydraulics, safety, sustainability, and long-term operability.
Through Consultancy By Bart, he works as technical lead and advisor, guiding project teams from concept through delivery to ensure aquatic environments perform as beautifully as they look – long after handover.
